International Women’s Day: 8 Female led Instagram Home Accounts we can’t get enough of!

To celebrate international women’s day we’re looking at some of our favourite female led instagram accounts. Perfect inspiration for making your new house a home, or encouraging you to revamp your well loved home.

Learning the ins and outs of interior design can be overwhelming but these women have their personal style nailed so we thought we’d share a peek into their homes to give you some ideas.

1. Lydia Millen Home

Her detailed reels and handy tips cover every inch of her stunning home. She shares the progress of her home transformation with her followers weekly and is the perfect inspiration for the first time buyers, as she discusses the mistakes she made when she started decorating compared to her luxurious designs today.

Want some inspiration from a woman that can seemingly do it all? Look no further than Lucy Whitemore who shares her tricks for creating a modern family friendly home. Her traditional inspired aesthetic and her eye-catching wall art seem unattainable at first, but she details her budget friendly tips for making your new house a stylish and comfy home.

Paula’s house is like something straight out of a Jane Austen novel, her snippets of advice in the caption and sweet stories of her mother are always a joy to read along side her stunning home. Her well honed aesthetic will make you weak at the knees!

More is more is more is, you guessed it, more. Sophie Abbot’s home is like a Lewis Carrol Wonderland, the detail, the colour, the drama is jaw-dropping. We specifically included this account on this special list for it’s indulgent uniqueness, it’s unapologetically itself! Something inspiring to every woman out there. We love how she brings together a mosaic of similar tones with pictures and plants. And her sausage dog, Gus, is very (very) cute. 

5. Justina Blakeney

The designer, artist and inventor of the term “Jungalow” (jungle + bungalow) creates rooms that beg to be Instagrammed. Justina Blakeney is a master of this maximalist and lively style, with an Instagram page that is drowning in gorgeous plant-filled, tropical inspiration.

Looking for a 1950s beach house style? Want to bring the bright sunnies rays of Los Angeles to your home? Ashley Whittaker can help you do just that. Her bold patterns and striking artwork, matched with her dramatic accessories, makes for a characteristic punch of lush interior design. She describes herself as a “youthful traditionalist” and we can see why!

7. Amanda Walker

Comfort, cosiness, neutrals, style… do those words come to mind when you think of the mood board of your dream home? Well Amanda’s page is perfect inspiration. She’s a big believer in colourful minimalism, bringing bright neutrals to your walls through murals and block colours.
